Moving in Europe

When moving to another country in Europe the volume of your household and furniture is important. Do we need a full truck or can we combine your move with others to the same destination? One of our advisors will visit you prior to the relocation in order to assess the situation and to measure the total volume of your household goods.

The time needed for the relocation depends on the destination and the volume of your belongings. Loading and unloading of a full truck will usually take one day.
We can drive 600 to 800 km in a day, so if you move to the South of Spain, it may take as long as a week to complete the move.

Transport by ship or plain

Moving between continents is done in steel shipping containers or wooden crates in most cases. At your request we do the packing, loading and stowing for you in The Netherlands and arrange for the unloading to be done by a specialist in your destination country. We have reliable partners all over the world to make the entire relocation process smooth and comfortable.

Packing
Your household goods need special handling when they are to be packed for transport by air or sea: Crates may be subject to rough handling and shocks during loading. Small objects are packed in special boxes and clothing in dedicated wardrobe containers. Of course precious and fragile items, like antiquities and paintings, receive very special care.
